Description
Olive oil comes from the olive tree fruit (Olea europaea), a tree traditionally found around the Mediterranean Sea . Its virtues have been recognized for centuries.
Active principle
In addition to its moisturizing properties, olive oil contains antioxidants (polyphénols, hydroxytyrosol) that help skin to fight free radicals caused by pollution and ultra-violets rays. It is one of the main ingredients of the Crete cooking, the Cretan people being famous for their longevity.
